application vs registration

Hi all,

I am not sure if this question has been posted before, but I am wondering if it is possible to tailor a different process to apply as to register? for example, I want registers to answer a series of questions relating to their health or further education, but I dont require applicants to complete these questions. Is this possible?

Yes, you can do this.

1) Whatever your default application is set to is also what your general registration is set to. You can see what your default application is set to in the Website tab -> Job Application location within CATS.

2) If you want your job applications for specific positions to be shorter, you can also do this. Simply create a separate application in the location mentioned above, then goto the specific job order you want that application attached to. Click the Edit button and scroll down to the bottom of the job order. You will see a link for "Set Applications". Click this link and you can specify the application(s) you want attached to this job order.
