CATS WordPress Plugin
We are proud to announce the immediate availability of our WordPress plugin which brings the power of the CATS Applicant Tracking System and our careers website functionality directly to your WordPress powered website. For many users, this means a personalized jobs site can be achieved in just a couple of minutes simply by installing a plugin.
WordPress, one of the first and most popular Content Management Systems (CMS) available is used on millions of sites and seen by tens of millions of people every day. WordPress started as a blogging system, but since has evolved to be used as a full content management system. Through the thousands of plugins, widgets, and themes, WordPress is limited only by your imagination.
A Content Management System (CMS) like WordPress allows you to dynamically add and edit your professional website on the fly. You can drag and drop content as needed. Changing your website requires zero technical knowledge -- no calls to an IT guy and no waiting.
CATS already offers a powerful job site. All of the functionality already available through our public API is now packed into this convenient plugin:
- Searchable/Sortable Listing of your Posted Jobs
- Applicant Registration
- Self-Service: Applicants can update their info, view or upload resumes
- Customizable Job Applications w/triggers to perform actions based on answers
- "Hot Jobs" and "Recently Viewed" sidebar widgets
- Automatic email notifications
Much of the configuration is done on-the-fly through the CATS "Website" tab. From there, you can configure job applications, manage posted jobs and even set what information is displayed (such as the formatted job description).
The plugin is designed to work with a wide variety of themes and page layouts. In most cases, no additional branding or customization is necessary -- you're up and running in just a few minutes.
The plugin runs on your server and website domain (http://www.yourname.com), so it's great for SEO too. If you need to make any changes, all of the templates and stylesheets can be modified so long as you're familiar with HTML/CSS. If you're not using WordPress and want to convert, contact our support team, as do offer this service.
